Your lessons are yours.

1. Who we are

RaySensei ("we", "us") provides an AI tutoring service that teaches through voice, a live drawing board, and interactive lessons, available at raysensei.com and demo.raysensei.com. For anything in this policy, contact us at sarthak@raysensei.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a display name, and store your login credentials securely.

Lesson content. The service works by conversing with you, so we process what you say or type during a lesson, your answers to checkpoint questions, and the boards drawn in your sessions. Lessons are recorded so you can revisit and replay them.

Voice audio. If you use the microphone, your speech is streamed to a transcription service and converted to text. We keep the transcript as part of your lesson history; we do not build voice profiles or use your voice to identify you.

Usage and technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps, pages requested) and basic usage metrics, used for security, debugging, and understanding how lessons are used.

We do not collect payment information at this time, and we do not buy data about you from third parties.

3. How we use it

• To run your lessons: generating explanations, drawings, and spoken audio in response to what you ask.
• To remember context between sessions, so a returning learner can pick up where they left off.
• To improve the service: reviewing lessons in aggregate to find where teaching fails, fixing bugs, and evaluating quality.
• To keep the service safe: preventing abuse, enforcing our terms, and protecting the service from attacks.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your lesson content for advertising.

4. Service providers

Delivering a lesson involves sending content to a small number of infrastructure providers acting on our behalf:

• AI model providers — your messages and lesson context are sent to AI model providers to generate the tutoring responses and drawings.
• Speech services — audio you speak is transcribed by a speech-to-text provider, and Ray's voice is synthesized by a text-to-speech provider.
• Hosting and delivery — our servers and content delivery run on cloud infrastructure providers.

These providers process data only to provide their service to us and are bound by their own contractual and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of RaySensei or others.

5. Retention

Lesson history is kept while your account is active so you can replay and continue past lessons. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your account information and lesson history within 30 days, except where we must retain records to comply with law.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can use text instead of voice at any time.
• You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and lessons by emailing sarthak@raysensei.com.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law; we will honor valid requests accordingly.

7. Children

RaySensei is built for learners, including school-age students. Where a learner is below the age at which they can consent to data processing in their country, the account should be created and supervised by a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians can review or request deletion of their child's data by contacting us. We collect no more information from young learners than the service needs to teach.

8. Security

Lessons are served over encrypted connections, access to production systems is restricted, and credentials are stored securely. No internet service can promise perfect security, but if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it in the product. Continued use of the service after a change means the updated policy applies.
